My purpose is to help all people in all stages of life develop a healthier relationship with money that will lead to a life of contentment with a sound financial future without debt. The guiding principles below ensure my clients are the priority in this working relationship.
1. Financial Literacy will provide you the foundation to keep you working to achieve the SMART goals you set for your future.
Learning the financial knowledge and skills needed to make good, sound informed decisions provides the motivation to preserve in reaching your SMART goals. SMART goals increase
your fulfillment, through an actionable plan, of achieving life-long financial success.
2. Anyone can take control of their money.
I believe no matter the stage of life you may be in, it is never too late to take control of your money. I also believe this will lead to a life without debt and stress, a “Your Money, Your
Peace” mindset, and instead allows you to enjoy life abundantly just as God said you could.
3. Grace is needed to overcome obstacles and changes in life, and move forward with a positive mindset.
Life is busy and complex and happens all around you every day. Along the way, you will find life events may cause struggles with your finances, even if you thought you planned for
everything. Emergencies occur and we are human, so mistakes will also happen! Just breathe, give yourself grace (don’t put yourself down) and move on. You will have the chance to
improve in the future.
4. Your financial journey cannot be done in a bubble.
As you gain financial freedom by eliminating debt, this provides you the opportunity to continue to set new SMART goals and to use your financial literacy knowledge to determine your
needs for emergency savings, housing, insurance, savings, and which investment strategies are right for you. You will need to complete a review and revise your entire financial
situation at least once a year to ensure you are meeting the goals you have set.
5. Preparation for the future also provides for the future.
Being in control of your money will allow you to use your money for purposes that benefit you and your family now and in the future. Planning and preparing for the future will help to
provide money for future life events such as college, buying a house, retirement, and leaving the legacy, you want your family and friends to remember you by.
6. Fees for my services will be based on a fixed amount or flat fee basis.
I believe I must act in the best interests of my clients at all times. From giving advice to providing personal one-on-one assistance, I will communicate clearly and honestly. Because I
am not accepting commissions for outside service businesses such as insurance or investment firms, I can guide my client to the best product possible for them without any conflict of
interest.
7. Ongoing support is available.
I realize that once you become financially literate and in control of your money, that companies you choose to do business with regarding insurance, savings, investments, as well as
others provide you tools to monitor your accounts and transactions on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis. However, I will still be available to assist you in the manner you choose,
such as reviewing financial documents, discussion of changes, and so forth. You will always be welcome as one of my clients!
